RD Therapeutics firmly believes that what businesses do, collectively, in the next decade to limit emissions will be critical for future generations and our planet. Net zero means cutting greenhouse gas emissions to as close to zero as possible, with any remaining emissions being reabsorbed from the atmosphere. This is undoubtedly the best way to tackle climate change, limiting global warming to no more than 1.5°C, in line with the Paris Agreement. To achieve this, emissions need to be reduced by 45% by 2030 and reach net zero by 2050. We will shortly announce more details on our pledge to become a net zero company including details on corporate governance, near-term and long-term targets, and timelines of our journey
